At one time it was used to make armor... leather can still be paired with metal but now, for adornment in pleasure and not war.
Each cuff is formed while wet to shape the leather for the best fit on the wrist. Then the cuff is finished w/ trim and adorned with either a metal chain with a choice of pewter, brass or copper finish with a matching giant lobster claw for fastening ease or with suede straps for tying. The leathers used are from remnants pieces and come in a variety of colors and textures. Handmade in Brooklyn. |
